CreeAnna’s LLC started when Tiphanie couldn’t find the job she was looking for…so she decided to hire herself instead.
She started the business in 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic, with a love for baking, a mentor who encouraged her to start selling her meat pies, and a willingness to figure the rest out along the way.
And there was definitely plenty to figure out. Tiphanie quickly learned that owning a food business involves a whole lot more than making great food—taxes, pricing, planning, staying ahead, and all the behind-the-scenes stuff nobody really warns you about.
Her advice to other aspiring business owners? Just start. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you take the first step.
What began on a small counter in her kitchen eventually grew into a commercial kitchen and now a permanent home inside @dudespublicmarket here in Pocatello. ❤️
And the food? Tiphanie and her mom, Stephanie, make it all—from Nigerian-style jollof rice and meat pies to cookies, sweet breads, desserts, and everything in between. That mix of flavors and variety is a huge part of what makes CreeAnna’s, CreeAnna’s.
Through all of that growth, Tiphanie says the community has been what keeps her going. People showed up at farmers markets and events, offered encouragement, and kept coming back for more.
As she put it: she can make awesome food, but without the community, what good is it? 🥹❤️
