Job Description:

About Manticore Marketing

We make businesses impossible to ignore. Through bold messaging, conversion-first websites, and scroll-stopping campaigns, we help businesses get seen, remembered, and chosen. As a small, collaborative team you’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with designers, developers, photographers, and marketers to turn ideas into live, revenue-driving products.

The Role in one line

Run 10–20 website, content, social and ad-launch projects from kickoff to finish, own the client relationship, and make sure deliverables hit deadlines and client expectations.

Why this role matters

You’ll be the operational glue that turns sales promises and creative briefs into finished sites, campaigns and content packages. We rely on this role to keep projects on schedule, keep clients informed and delighted, and make our production teams efficient and predictable.

What you’ll do (core responsibilities)

  • Own client communications: Serve as the primary contact for the client from kickoff through delivery and beyond — administer status calls, collect feedback, set expectations, and keep the relationship healthy.

  • Manage 10–20 active projects at a time: Create and own project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and day-to-day workflows.

  • Kickoff to launch: Run kickoffs, gather assets, scope work, schedule shoots, coordinate reviews, and move projects through design → build → QA → launch.

  • Onboarding & handoffs: Lead the onboarding process and make early delivery handoffs smooth so the client sees value fast. You’ll also maintain involvement after launch to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

  • Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with designers, developers, photographers, and content creators to make sure creative + technical work aligns with the schedule.

  • Status reporting: Produce clear, timely status updates for clients and internal stakeholders; surface risks and escalate early with mitigation plans.

  • Scope control: Track change requests and scope creep; document and manage changes with clear client approvals.

  • Quality & acceptance: Confirm deliverables meet acceptance criteria before client review; run QA checklists and sign-offs.

  • Events & relationship building: Attend occasional evenings/weekends for client events or networking; represent Manticore professionally.

  • Process improvement: Build and maintain simple SOPs, templates, and naming conventions so the team scales without chaos.

What success looks like (KPIs)

In this role you’ll be measured by:

  • On-time delivery rate (projects and milestones completed by committed dates)

  • Client satisfaction / NPS for your book of projects

  • Average time-to-onboard new projects (shorter is better)

  • Project throughput (sustaining 10–20 active projects without missed SLAs)

  • Clean handoffs & low rework after launch

Who we’re looking for (must-haves)

  • People-first: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills — you’ll be the face of Manticore to clients.

  • Hyper-organized & deadline-conscious: Proven ability to manage multiple projects (10–20) with excellent attention to detail.

  • Client ownership mentality: You must be comfortable owning client communications and staying connected post-launch.

  • Marketing interest or background: Education, work experience, or a strong interest in marketing (websites, content, social media, paid ads). We’ll train the right people, but you should be able to speak credibly about marketing goals.

  • Google Workspace proficiency: Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Docs, and Meet — used daily.

  • CRM & PM familiarity: Comfortable using HubSpot and Basecamp or similar tools for client comms and project tracking (we’ll train for specifics).

  • Problem-solver: Can spot issues early and push for pragmatic fixes.

  • Professional, extroverted presence: You’ll meet clients in person and represent Manticore; relationship-building comes naturally.

  • In-person in Pocatello: This is an in-office position; local candidates preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience managing website projects, content production, or ad launches.

  • Experience with HubSpot or Basecamp specifically.

  • Basic familiarity with QA checks for websites (forms, analytics tags, redirects).

  • Project management certifications or coursework (PMP, Scrum, or similar) are a plus but not required.

Work environment & expectations

  • Strictly in-person at our Pocatello office; occasional travel to client sites as needed.

  • Typical hours are M–F, but some evenings/weekends are required occasionally for events, shoots, or urgent launches. We expect flexibility for client-facing work.

  • This role requires a confident, friendly, and professional presence — you should be comfortable in meetings, on-stage at small events, and leading client calls.
